What services work best as comps?
The ones with a visible result: a cut, color, a set of nails, lashes, a blowout. Creators get the service, post the result, and the result books your next client. Off-peak chairs are the cheapest marketing you will ever buy.
Who owns the photos and videos creators post?
The creator does. Creators always own their content. Delivered posts are saved to your content library: on a comp visit you can share a post natively, with the creator credited; repost rights and ad use come with paid visits only, as one standard 90-day license from the post date.
Can a solo barber or a single-chair studio use this?
Yes. The roster includes Neighbors, everyday local people with 500 to 2,000 followers, so a small shop can start with small, genuinely local creators and grow from there.
How much does it cost?
Published pricing: $199 a month for Self-Service (up to 5 creator visits a month, about $40 per creator visit), $349 a month for Growth (up to 10 creator visits a month, about $35 per creator visit) or $699 a month for Managed (up to 20 creator visits a month), with a 3-month minimum, then month to month. Your only other cost is the comp you choose to offer, provided at your cost, not retail. There are no per-creator cash fees on standard visits.
What if a creator does not post?
Creators post to a 48-hour standard, and on-time posts earn them Momentum. If no post has appeared within a week of the visit, you get a replacement visit and the slot does not count against your cap. Creators who no-show or do not post lose standing, and repeat offenders are removed from the roster entirely.
Do creators have to post something positive?
Never. Creators post their honest experience, and no business on SIGNL may require a positive post or review. That honesty is exactly what makes the posts believable to the people reading them. Businesses that deliver a good experience get good posts.
